Replacing text in pdf programmatically php

Hello,
I have some already made pdf InDesign. I am looking for someone to help me populate a placeholder
for instance {{your_name}} through the means of php.
You are only requested to help write the code that can read the pdf, find the instance of {{your_name}} and replace it with any other string (could be a placeholder). We need to make sure that the pdf doesn't loose it's design.
Note: it doesn't have to be {{your_name}}, if you can do it through the use of tags, that's ok too. Same holds for inDesign to XML, edit XML then convert to pdf if that works.
Only apply if you're confident that you can do the job.
