Repair php Scripts - Optimize Scripts

I have a website that is running scripts via a cron job. The scripts query an API and store information to a mysql database, however the information seems to not be stored correctly or maybe theres some other issue with the script logic that needs to be found, however the scripts were all working fine and then suddenly stopped.
