Rendering AVI & MKV to browser using PHP

Hello mate. i have a PHP File that renders a MP4 (or any other video format file) from my hard drive.
my issue is that, the browser is unable to load the content when the loaded file is a extension of AVI / MKV.
i need someone to fix the script, so it will be able to render it as "video/mp4", so the browser will be able to read it.
* without converting the existing file
* without big loading time.
