Protect a Private Game from Hacking Tools/Script/Cheats
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
Protect a Private Online Multiplayer Game from Hacking Tools/Script/Cheats
The problem: Someone is secretly generating items or have access to some tools with admin commands. This player then sells this items for money. If we legitimately generate items, we use a command from in-game chat (e.g -additem (item code) (rarity) (quantity), and we can see the logs from the host who generates this item. But we do not see any logs from this attacker.
Our server was already open 4 months ago, around a week ago, we have seen an item in auction (buying and selling through NPC) with items not released yet in public but stored in our files. Even a rarity that is not released yet. So this attacker might been doing it since last few months already.
We're not really sure if this is a hacking tool or script yet. We are using phpMyAdmin & mySQL.
We thought it's an attack in our phpMyAdmin or an SQL Injection, but some developer said it is not.
