Progressive Web App
Budget: £2,500 – £3,500 GBP
We are looking for help in designing and building a responsive web app which presents information to users relating to their energy trading. Users/subscribers will have on-premises battery storage facilities and the app is designed to provide them with information to help them decide whether and when to sell back to the grid. The data is already preconfigured and provided via JSON.
The app can be built in php or node.js and we would own the IP and source files on completion of the project.
Scope of the project
> "Some" graphic design. The first stage of this project is in building an MVP. If the launch is successful then more attention will be paid to the design and the app will be developed, requiring more input from subscribers.
> SCSS files - output from the graphic design
> User authentication - users will be initially logging into a WordPress site and then, automatically, into the app
> Digesting json files and displaying within widgets/cards (images of examples have been uploaded). There are approximately 9 widgets/cards, the majority of which are not much more than displaying text. 2 of them are going to be a little trickier to deal with and the weather card is going to need to need some icons for weather conditions.
> Making use of browser off-line storage for previous days/weeks/months so that users can see previous energy use without having to pull down from the server continuously
> Enabling push notifications to be displayed
We would need to be able to test and feedback throughout this project. Please advise on what works best for you i.e. how we'll be able to get hold of you, when you're available/not available and how you'd like to setup the "test environment" (either you have something in place or we provide you with one).
