Print PHP - Ajax Search Terms on Wordpress Page

I am using the Listeo Wordpress theme. I have an Ajax search for Wordpress categories. When I select a category, I want to be able to print what was searched into a template and then I will do the logic after with what is printed. I need it in PHP.
Secondly, I need to be able to restrict the number of categories that can be selected to 3. This is what you need to use:

I just need it implementing.
