Overview:
I'm looking for an experienced web developer to create a website that is similar to JournoPortfolio (https://www.journoportfolio.com/). The website should be designed to showcase different career skills and work and include the ability to create a portfolio, add articles and videos, and customize the layout and design.
Design:
I want the website to have a similar user interface and design to JournoPortfolio including the, fonts, and layout. However, the brand colors used should be easily adjusted by defining accent colors and theme colors- Use the color codes
The website should be clean, modern, and easy to navigate.
Features:
Management Dashboard.
i. A CMS for the administrator, from which they can manage the site, manage site content, manage the site users, update/delete. View site analytics. View and manage subscriptions. Respond to queries.
Account creation & Management.
i. Ability to create an account using email and a password; Account verification via email should be sent out on creation. Ability to deactivate/delete an account.
ii. Ability to create account on the platform via 3rd party auth using accounts such as google, LinkedIn, Facebook.
iii. Account recovery via the forget password feature.
iv. On account creation, there should be an automatic subdomain created from the main domain. This subdomain will be associated with the individual user’s account.
v. An account management portal where one can choose subscription plans, payment history, edit account names, email
vi. Account users are allowed to start with a (X days) trial package which expires upon the end of the (X day) and prompted to now subscribe to continue with access.
vii. A payment gateway to be established to facilitate payment and subscription plans.
viii. A live chat option on the website.
The key features I want to include on the website are:
Portfolio Creator/Editor.
i. Access to a portfolio editing platform akin to that of journo portfolio.
ii. Analytics feature that provides a dashboard insight relevant to the traffic on your portfolio.
iii. Ability to publish an item (add elements, manipulate elements, attach files in the internal editor) and publish them in any named section of the portfolio. Adding articles and videos and publishing them.
iv. Ability to add a page and build it either block by block or use existing suggested page templates.
v. Design feature: Here access to
Themes: selecting, browsing and switching between various accessible theme store(templates). When switching between theme, it is important to ensure that most data is not lost and is transferred between themes.
Fonts: switch between various font packs (A font pack has specification for fonts of various elements, such as H1, H2….)
Colors: A theme can have various color themes.
Navigation: Switch navigations items outlooks, such as side bars size, alignment, background…
The design interface should show all elements of the theme in a manner such that they should be manipulated easily and graphically. For instance, adding sections, deleting sections, defining sections layout, fonts and colors. See fig below.
