Php local setup

I have cloud/server (CPanel) access from where I can zip out all files which are being served at a hosted domain. I have downloaded this file set and run it through XAMP on the local machine. Despite replicating the database locally too (PhpMyAdmin), the site is not working properly on localhost. The hosted site is working absolutely fine, but if those files are downloaded and run locally it's giving some issues. Thus, local setup needs to be fixed.

Applicants would need to show their prior project/some work, done in Php and MySQL.
