Php SOAP small script required

I need to make a small SOAP request to: https://validator.w3.org/feed/ which checks one URL and returns either a valid or invalid response to the front end. This will be used on a Wordpress site, ideally I’d like to make an ajax request on the front end and then call the soap request and pass the response back to the front end, however I am unfamiliar with SOAP and open to the easiest way to do this, however it needs to happen from the front end.
