Payment Gateway Plugin for Wordpress - Paid Memberships Pro
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We are a UK based Charity that uses Wordpress with a Plugin called Paid Membership Pro to handle signups to our Association. We do not use WP as a Blog or website other than the Membership Portal.
Our Primary payment gateway is Paypal but we also take payments via Direct Debit (DD), which, for those that may not know, is a more direct connection to the subscribers bank account.
We have a need for a Plugin for Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro), to provide a Gateway between us and a system called GoCardless, which is used to set up the Direct Debit Mandate.
At present, the member, new or renewing, may select "Pay by Direct Debit" on our site. This records the order on our system, but then sends an email with a link to the GoCardless website for the Member to set up the Mandate. The Order is marked as "Pending" in our system. We manually change this to "Success" when we ratify that the DD Mandate has been successfully set up and the first payment taken.
We currently offer both Annual and Monthly paid Memberships via this system, with the option of an Individual Membership or Family Membership at two different rates. These are Plans that are configured within GoCardless.
This functionality is available via API's provided by GoCardless, to automate the process.
Our requirement is for a Payment Gateway Plugin for Wordpress / Paid Memberships Pro with the functionality of:
1) Create the DD Mandate &
2) Automate 1st Payment request
3) Assign the Member to the correct payment plan we have configured in GoCardless
4) Change the status of the Order if the Member cancels their Mandate via GoCardless or their Bank
Current hosted environment is:
Wordpress 5.9.1
PHP 7.4
Paid Memberships Pro 2.6.3 but soon to be updated to 2.7.4
