Pawn Shop POS System Development

I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a point of sale system specifically tailored for a pawn shop. This system needs to include:

Key Functionalities:
- Inventory Management: The system should track the items in the shop, their status, and assist in managing the inventory efficiently.
- Sales Processing: It should handle transactions smoothly, calculating totals, taxes, discounts, etc.
- Customer Tracking: The system should allow for monitoring of customer interactions and purchases, helping to build a customer database over time.

Hardware Integration:
- The system needs to be compatible with a receipt printer and a cash drawer.
- Please note, there is no requirement for integration with a barcode scanner at this time.

User Interface:
- The POS system should be designed for use with a keyboard and mouse. A touchscreen interface is not required.

Ideal candidates for this project should have prior experience in developing retail POS systems, preferably for pawn shops or similar businesses.
