PHP app to allow users to add custom markers on map - citizen problem reporting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The app has a frontend part and a backend for the admin. The frontend has a logo, menu on top, the body of the page is a map of a specific city (it will be configured in the backend by the admin).
The users can zoom and click on the map to show a popup form with the following fields (*indicates compulsory fields): name*, email*, phone number*, category* (dropdown), subcategory* (dropdown with options loaded after the category is selected, categories and subcategories will be configured in the backend, by the admin), description* (textarea), photos *(min 1, max 3 images), captcha*.
After successful form submission, the map will show the marker to anyone visiting the frontend. When users will hover over the marker, a tooltip style will appear showing a brief info: Report Status, Problem category> Subcategory and description. If the user click on the marker, a popup will open showing the Full info: Date of the report, Status, Date of Last status update, category, subcategory, description, photos and backend user comments, if added.
On the frontend menu there will be a filter to allow users to only show specific reports on the map (Category or Category>Subcategory) and/or specific report status.
On the backend, the admin can add/remove backend users (name, username, password, email), bulk assign reports from a user to another user, configure Top Categories and Subcategories and assign the categories to specific users, access all reports and delete reports.
Regular backend users will receive an email when a new report is added for their assigned categories. When logging in, the app will show a lost of all the open issues ordered by date and also a map with all active reports. On the menu, the filter will allow showing only reports with specific status and also have a date range selector. There will also be a simple search field (will search all reports fields).
New reports will have the default status of - Report received. When a backend user opens the report, the status will change to Assigned. The backend user will be able to add comments to the report, which will appear on the frontend. The backend user will also have a comment section where he cand add comments lines (date/hour, and comment, visible only to backend users). Other report available statuses will be (In progress, Resolved.) . All status changes and public comments made by the backend user will be sent to the reporting user, by email.
