I need an expert in web server optimization to help me polish the performance of my dedicated server. This server, based on linode, acts as the host for a recently installed WordPress site. The server's current configuration includes an 8-core CPU and 16GB RAM. However, a recent load test, showing 50 users in a span of 15 seconds, shot the CPU usage up to 100%. With an expected influx of up to 10k users per minute, this is not sustainable. The website currently has no plugins installed and there are no caching measures in use.
