PHP/MySQL and Bootstrap/JQuery expert needed for ongoing PHP Project Upgrades
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled PHP developer to make some changes and improvements to my existing custom PHP Point of Sale (POS) system. Here's a list of what needs to be done:
1. Notify users when stock is running low. They should be able to set the limit, like 5, 10, or 15 items.
2. Create a custom category for expenses.
3. Add the ability to give discounts based on the customer.
4. Provide a quick overview of sales.
5. Include customer location information.
6. Calculate commissions for representatives.
7. Allow stock to be transferred between different stores.
8. Automatically generate barcodes for products.
9. Make it easy to change the site's appearance (theming).
10. Add a quotation feature.
11. Create a balance sheet or business record.
12. Let users select multiple products, customers, or sales for deletion.
13. Duplicate previous sales.
14. Show representatives how to access the system after being created.
15. Export purchase orders.
This is an ongoing project, so we'll start with 1-2 tasks and then add more as we go.
The skills and experience we're looking for are:
- Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- The script is already working, but we need to modify and add new features.
- Experience in enhancing existing scripts.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining high quality.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap and JQuery/Javascript.
You'll be working on a GitHub project. We'll provide you with the code and the project's URL once we're confident in your abilities.
