Minimum Job Requirements for a Senior PHP Developer for an EMR System:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A relevant certification or equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
2. Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on PHP development. Experience in developing healthcare or EMR systems is highly preferred.
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficient in PHP programming language with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- In-depth understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience working with collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems.
- Understanding of software design patterns and best practices in software development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and deploying web applications.
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in web applications.
4. EMR Knowledge: Strong understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM), and compliance requirements (HIPAA, ONC, CMS). Experience working on EMR projects or healthcare-related software is highly desirable.
