I'm looking for a freelancer with expertise in PHP, MySQL, and email marketing systems, specifically with Sendy and Amazon SES. Below is a description of the issue I'm facing with my current Sendy setup:
I am currently experiencing an issue with the send-now.php script in Sendy, specifically related to the cron job for sending campaigns. The campaign starts but only sends a small batch of emails (e.g., 14 emails) before stopping. I have to manually click "Resume" each time to send another small batch, which is inefficient and puts unnecessary load on the server.
The desired behavior is for the cron job to run and complete the sending process for the entire list without stopping. It should continue sending until all recipients have received the email, rather than requiring manual intervention for each small batch.
To fix this issue, I need someone who can:
Analyze the current send-now.php script to identify why the cron job is not completing as intended.
Modify the script or related settings so that the sending process continues automatically until all recipients are reached.
Ensure the campaign status is correctly updated throughout the sending process (e.g., from "draft" to "sending" and then "sent").
