Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable, independent PHP developer to support our ongoing web projects and long-term maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Joomla, and is comfortable working on both frontend and backend tasks.
IMPORTANT: We are ONLY looking for individual freelancers.

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and improve custom CMS projects based on Laravel and CodeIgniter
– Perform updates and small adjustments in Joomla (occasionally WordPress)
– Fix bugs, implement new features, and optimize frontend components
– Ensure mobile responsiveness and browser compatibility
– Write clean, tested code and deliver ready-to-deploy solutions
– Communicate daily via Microsoft Teams
Requirements:
– Fixed rate: $5/hour
– 5+ years of experience in PHP development
– Strong knowledge of Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Joomla
– Solid understanding of MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
– Experience with custom CMS structures (not just frameworks)
– Clean and efficient working style – small tasks should not be overestimated
– Ability to test your own work before submitting
– Daily availability and clear communication
– Accurate time tracking using our system

– Clear daily updates on progress and task status
– Defined working hours and predictable availability
– A proactive mindset – identify and fix issues, not just wait for tasks
– Fast execution and realistic estimates
– (Example: Renaming a menu item does not take one hour)
Test Task Information:
To ensure a good fit, we will assign a small practical test to selected applicants.
The task will be based on real work from an existing CodeIgniter project.
Only shortlisted candidates will receive the full task description and project URL.
You will be asked to estimate the required time before starting.
The goal is to evaluate code quality, communication, and reliability.
