PHP Developer

We need an experienced PHP Developer to integrate a new API to our existing Application
You will work in a team and need to speak English.
Also, a possible language can be German or Turkish.

The application written in PHP and running live.
Our goal is to separate a part of the project into a microservice.
This will be achieved by reading and documenting relevant functions and files.

The Application is written in PHP and based on Yii Framwork (v. 1.1).
A lot of relevant functions are also written in JavaScript (Mixed frameworks and language versions)

First Step is to set up a development environment with Docker.
Second will be to understand the business logic and find necessary code lines to integrate the new API.
The third step will be to implement the API Integration.

The work will be done from our Virtual Machines, where we have PHP Storm or VS Code.
We use GitLab for version control.

Necessary Skills are :
- PHP 5
- JavaScript (at least ES5)
- Git
- Basic Linux Shell
- Docker (also Docker Compose)
