PHP / CodeIgnitor Developer (NO COMPANIES, individual developers only!!!)
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
*****MUST HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH CodeIgnitor, AngularJS, WordPress, WooCommerce or will not be considered***********
*****Companies will not be considered for this project. Only independent developers with the ability to work 20 hrs per week will be considered****
Metronic and Flatsome experience is a big plus!
We are looking for a developer to work 20+ hours a week supporting another developer we have on this project. Project duration has several phases and could be 6 months or more.
We have a WordPress site using Woocommerce with the Flatsome Theme. The backend of the system is built entirely in CodeIgnitor in the Metronic framework and interfaces with WP and Woo.
Phase 1: Review our project specifications document and study the work done in CodeIgnitor and Metronic by our other developer. Interface with the other developer for knowledge download and any questions. Learn the project!
Phase 2 (2 weeks): The Intranet (backend) uses the Metronic theme, and interfaces with woocommerce with CodeIgnitor. You will be supporting the currently developer in finishing this phase.
Phase 3 (2 weeks): The User Portal (front end Extranet) will be consist of modifying Woocommerce to meet our requirements and adding much functionality that interfaces with our Metronic backend. You will play a bigger part in this phase.
New Project: Once the original project is completed, you will take the LEAD role in a new project, where we will take the original project, modify it, and create another new platform using the base engine/code/website from the last project. This will take at lease 1 month.
The following requirements MUST be met:
-Experience with WordPress/Woocommerce core customization
-VERY STRONG CodeIgnitor experience REQUIRED
-Strong REST / JSON API experience (there are several APIs that will need to be built from scratch)
-MySQL (ability to construct schema diagram using best practices)
-Experience with Flatsome WordPress theme a plus
-Experience with Metronic Framework a plus

This could turn into a permanent role after 6 months.
