Optimization of PHP code
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am looking for a PHP developer to optimize my code in terms of code organization and readability. The ideal candidate should have experience in improving code structure and making it more maintainable.
Specific areas of optimization include:
- Reviewing and restructuring the code to improve organization and readability
- Implementing best practices for code documentation and commenting
- Identifying and removing redundant or unnecessary code
- Avoid timeout
- Limit the number of attempts for certain operations to avoid infinite loops or an excess of requests.
- Import a large list of companies (100,000 records), either from an API or from a CSV file.
- If an exception is raised during the import, return an error message.
- Call the API every 48 hours to retrieve information about the companies for a specific date- Check in batches of 1,000 companies every 15 minutes to see if these companies already exist in the database.
- Check, for each company retrieved, if it meets the exclusion criteria of the blacklist.
- Generate a unique code for each company.
- Generate a unique QR code for each company.
- Create a French intracommunity VAT number.
- Update the companies in batches.
- Import only the new companies into the database.
- Generate a PDF file for a company.
- Generate a PDF file in batches of 500 new companies.
- Plan the use of queues and batches.
There are no specific coding standards or rules to adhere to, so the developer will have some flexibility in implementing optimization techniques.
The expected outcome of the code optimization is to achieve faster execution time. The developer should have experience in optimizing code for performance, reducing processing time, and improving overall efficiency.
