OpenCart contact form and SMTP mail delivery fix.

Hello,
My client has an OpenCart shopping..
They have moved to Office 365 and now they cant receive any emails from the cart. Updating OpenCart is not an option and we require a fix only to the broken parts which is:
1) Contact Form
No email are received when the form is filled.
2) SMTP function.
The site was using PHPMail. But now it needs to use SMTP since moving to Microsoft 365 as emails will spam and bounce is PHPMail on the same domain is used (Microsft and SPF security etc).
When enabling SMTP, the contact form page becomes blank. Something is broken.
We are looking for an experienced DEV with a proven track record to fix this. Please only bid if you are confident in backing up the shopping cart and then making changes. The user is on cPanel.
Once fixed, we must also have a report on what was changed.
