Create our new ecommerce website on the Woocommerce platform
Looking for a "RockAuto Style'd" dropdown list searchable website/database. We're not in the automotive business. Approximately 50,000 sku's. Current website active but old and needing update. We have (2) in-house specialists to assist in the embellishment of the website. Thanks
1. Design and create database, product navigation and searchability of our products as outlined below. We have 50,000 SKUs optimization is important. We will supply formatted product and category spreadsheets.
2. Create a Woocommerce multi-level category and product accordion style panel menu to enhance the shopping experience of our customers by displaying product loop directly under chosen category.
3. All functionality needs to be a fully responsive for mobile and tablet.
4. A Sitewide search box will return results on a new search page and Category level search box. (see rockauto.com).
Customer can search and view the products according to the category chosen, this will expand the category accordion panel showing all products (simple, variable, etc.) for the selected category/sub-category. The products assigned to that category/sub-category would appear in an inline product table with SKU, short description, brand, and associated meta data.
The customer can then add the product(s) to cart via ajax add to cart button. See RockAuto.com to view the similar functionality that we would like to achieve. For this part of the project My Account, Search Results, Product, Checkout, Cart, Contact pages will be minimal.
