Need to make a login system that will work for a wordpress site

I need to develop a login system for my WordPress site that requires usernames and passwords. It must also include a user registration feature. Security is of utmost importance, so I need to make sure that it has all the standard security measures in place.
We are looking for a system that can handle several thousand users that we can monitor easily. Users should also be registered and linked up to their own individual dashboard as automatically as possible.
The dashboard should have calculation possibilities so the user and admin can monitor all movement, individually and totally across all users.
We also use excel and this should be used for the calculation part.
