Need help with small woocommerce script - updating cart item prioce programatically

I have a button that when clicked needs to change the price of the woocommerce product and add it to the cart. I have this setup with an ajax request which works fine (the ajax part).
I have the price and product ID passed to the function using POST. What I need help with isto change the product price in the cart and update the cart
