Need a Backend Developer to Fix SaaS Payment Integration, Subscription, and Trial Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I built a SaaS platform using an AI coding tool, and the main system is already working. This is not a project from scratch. I need an experienced backend developer to review the current setup, find the issues, and properly fix the billing flow.
The backend side of the system uses Python and Go, so I am looking for someone comfortable working with existing backend logic, payment flows, and debugging integration issues.
I need help with fixing and improving:
Payment integration
Subscription flow
Free trial setup
Trial-to-paid conversion
Payment status handling
Webhook / event handling if needed
Basic testing to make sure the full billing flow works correctly
The goal is to make the payment system stable, smooth, and reliable for users.
What I need from you:
Strong backend development experience with Python and Go
Strong experience with SaaS billing systems
Experience with Stripe, PayPal, or similar payment providers
Experience with subscriptions, recurring billing, and free trial logic
Ability to review an existing codebase, quickly understand the current setup, find the problems, and fix them properly
Good debugging and troubleshooting skills for an already-built system
