MySQL database table update/fix related to Joomla website modification

I have a social networking site that uses EasySocial.
EasySocial allows you to create different user profile types, however it only allows you to define one standard default profile image for all profile types.
A previous developer recently modified the EasySocial files to allow for a custom default profile image to be set for each different profile type.
The modification is showing in the back-end of EasySocial, however changes made there are not being saved to the site's database.
So I need someone to pick up where the previous developer left off and correct the issue.
