Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced developer or team to build an advanced AI agent (not a basic chatbot) capable of managing guest-host messaging on vacation rental platforms such as Booking.com and Airbnb.
The AI agent will be integrated using the Hostaway API and must autonomously respond to guest messages in a fluent, coherent, and context-aware manner, switching languages dynamically based on the user's input, while maintaining a professional and helpful tone throughout the conversation.
Key Features Required:
- Automated replies to guest messages on Booking.com and Airbnb via Hostaway API
- Multilingual capabilities (minimum: English, Italian, French, Spanish, German)
- Ability to detect and switch language mid-conversation based on guest input
- Context-aware, coherent, and professional messaging aligned with the tone of hospitality
- Customizable replies based on property details and host preferences
- Ability to handle frequently asked questions (check-in/check-out times, house rules, parking, availability, etc.)
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience with RESTful APIs (Hostaway API experience preferred)
- Strong background in AI language models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude) and conversational logic
- Scalable system design with fallback mechanisms for uncertain inputs
- Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS or GCP preferred)
Previous work in hospitality or travel-tech automation is a plus
