Modify API for WooCommerce
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This project is to modify or tell me how to limit the number of images imported into my Woo Commerce Store. I only want to import the main product image with the small thumbnails of the permutations and if there’s a video include that too. The other images (I believe they are referred to as description images, I don’t want to import).
I have an API that goes to AliExpress and collects all the data, description, images, prices, shipping, etc., for products in a specific category and puts it in a CSV file for import to my WooCommerce store. This works well, except it’s a bit slow.
What I need is when I am importing the file into my WooCommerce store, it takes forever and is using a lot of bandwidth and storage.
There are many drop-down’s that allow you to select what you want to import. Right now, everything it imports is acceptable, except all of the extra pictures. This may be solved by figuring out which drop-down box to modify. I tried to use the drop down for images and selected “Do Not Import”, but this removes all of the images. I want the main image and any small images to show different angles/permutations, etc. The attached image “DogCarrier.png”. is an example of how I would like my products to display. What I want to remove from downloading is attached as “ExtraPictures1-3” When you go to a product on my site now, you see all of these product pictures under the area in “DogCarrier.png”. I want to remove these images.
See also, the “ImportPanel-WooCommerce” image – this is the initial screen that opens when you click on import products into your Woo Store.
“Import-WooCommerce-MapFields” image, shows the different fields that will be imported to the store. I’m sure there is a drop-down or way to limit the images imported, but I’m not sure where it.
If there is no way to limit the images, then I would like to have something written into the program to limit importing all of the extra images as discussed above.
If you would like a live example of a page with all of the images, go to https://petsuppliesandfood.com/product-category/dog-carriers/ and click on any product. You will see all of the extra images of the product. This is what I want to eliminate. I want to keep all of the information and images that are above the Description.
The Maximum I can pay for this project is $150 and it needs to be done within 24 hours. Please let me know if this is something you can do and are familiar with. If you haven’t done this kind of work, i.e., modifying an API and working with WooCommerce import function, please don’t bid on this.
I need this done immediately. Please bid if you can do this project and can complete quickly
