Proposal for Hiring a Developer for mobile app development.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated developer to enhance an existing web-based project and to implement it as an iOS app. The focus will be on technical implementation and feature expansion, and refinement with further details to be shared with the selected candidate. The current web application is just a working prototype and the developer will need to rewrite/refine the whole piece for the whole app. The app is to be developed with React native framework with MySQL database.
Scope of Work
The hired developer will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Implement Mobile/Email Login
o Add secure and user-friendly login functionality using mobile numbers or email.
o Ensure the login process is seamless and follows best security practices.
2. Database Setup
o Configure and manage MySQL database to store user data and application-related information.
o Create the whole schema and implement the CRUD operations.
o Ensure the database is optimized for performance and scalability.
3. Feature Enhancements
4. Non-Password Based User Login
o Setup alternative login methods (e.g., OTP-based authentication) to simplify the login experience.
5. Ability to select location manually other than the current location.
6. Develop the whole UI for the app including the complete flow for user login, questionaire, lists etc.
Required Skills
To successfully complete this project, the candidate should have expertise in the following areas:
• Front-end Development:
o HTML, CSS, JavaScript
o Frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
• Back-end Development:
o Node.js, Express.js, or similar technologies
o RESTful API design and implementation
• Database Management:
o MySQL
o Experience with database set-up & optimisation
• Authentication Mechanisms:
o OTP-based login systems
o Email/mobile authentication
• Additional Skills:
o Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
