Migrate wordpress website search from algolia to typesense
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am looking to hire a freelancer to help me migrate my WordPress website's search from Algolia to Typesense. I'm primarily motivated by the potential cost savings, so finding the most cost-efficient solution is my top priority. My website is not currently using any other search plugins or functionalities. I do not have any specific deadline for getting this project completed, as successful completion of the migration is my greatest priority.
- On the back end, we are using custom modified wp-search-with-algolia plugin. I would need it to be modified such that the indexing is done in typesense instead of algolia by adding tyepsense php sdk in it.
- On the front end, we are using instantsearch.js to display the results. I would need it to be made compatible with typesense ( as they have an adapter for this).
- I would also need Ui/ux/widget enhancements using instantsearch.js on the front end.
