Migrate & Upgrade Mediawiki
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
Have a rather large mediawiki hosted on a shared platform, need the version updated to the latest version, possible integration / migration to wikidata too. Have a VPS server ready to go, just need the site backed up, upgraded, migrated then we can make it live on the new platform.
The site has 15,000 pages with over 30 million views since inception, bidders MUST have experience in Mediawiki and WikiData and be able to retrieve the site and DB from shared hosting and migrate to the VPS environment. This will also need to be on a new theme with different permission sets too.
Currently everyone is locked out, only editors can edit. With new theme and permissions I want anyone to be able to edit, but with each edit/update to be approved by an editor rather than them do it all. I think the new theme allows this.
