Mgp25 Instagram Api Fix for a Php Project

We are having a Website for Influencer Marketing. For now we are using MGP25 Instagram API that is causing Problems. When a user is registering at our page, he has to input his Instagram Username.
The API should then, check if the Username exists.
When yes it should grab Data from Instagram Users :
- Profile Picture
- Total Followers
- Engagement Rate (total engagement of a post / total followers x 100)
and store it in our Database. The Profil Picture should be stored on our Server. Also we need a Cronjob that will regular update this Settings. Maybe we can use a different Instagram API, that will work reliable. Iam open for all your ideas.
