Marketplace Inventory, Orders to Database to Power BI
Budget: $750 – $1,500 SGD
We sell physical products on online marketplaces like Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, Shopify, B2B etc.... We are using a platform called SellUSeller.com to integrate all these platforms into one central inventory to know all our current stocks, orders, etc…
We need to build some special reports on this data. So we need to extract the data from the SellUSeller platform using their API and put it into our new database, so we can build reports later.
The Project will be in Many Phases. We will start with two phases then we will add in all other phases as we complete them successfully.
Phase 1 - Inventory Data Fetch and connect it to Power BI
Phase 2 - Order status fetch and and connect it to Power BI
2) Inventory Requirement - Phase 1
You are required to fetch (GET) data from SellUSeller for the inventory items. No POSTing or pushing data. ONLY GET data and store it in the MSSQL Server database, hosted in Azure.
Set an Auto trigger to run the job at 11:59 pm-midnight - every night to execute this job.
We will be using Power BI to connect to this MSSQL server to show the data in the format as in the document attached.
The database needs to be very expandable as it will grow in the future and we have lots of plans for this in the near future.
This data should be connected to and connected to Power BI
You are required to install the PowerBI in my machine remotely and help set up our team's local machines.
In total you will set up PowerBI in 4-5 Machines if need be.
How will you handle the exceptions in case the API fails to fetch data?
As SellUSeller provides data for only the current day. So, getting data every day is a very important and critical factor.
Can we do a double GET at 11:49 pm and at 11:59 pm? Or can you recommend a better solution?
IF the API call fails send trigger email <to a person, I will provide the email later>
We need an HTML FORM screen to manually input the data into the table if the API call fails.
