Marketplace in Codeigniter

I want us to design and develop a Marketplace where buyers and sellers can trade products. Site will use PHP/ Codeigniter/ MySQL. No Wordpress or other free CMS. We want to go after car buyers and car sellers in the USA as well as dealerships offering our special products/services. We will use the same marketplace for additional categories later. Right now I am using the marketplace script from itechscripts.
