Make old Wordpress site work on PHP 8+
Budget: $750 – $1,500 NZD
An old Wordpress site we manage has fallen out of date and will require extensive work to rebuild it to be compatible with PHP 8+. The website is currently running on PHP 7.4.
The site is hosted on Kinsta who will be making it mandatory to have all sites running on PHP 8.0 by March 2023.
The problems with the website have been identified to be related to the theme and 1 or more plugins.
The aim is to be able to continue using the current theme and plugins on PHP 8 before the mandatory upgrade takes place in March 2023. We can then look at rebuilding the entire site during the year, which will be a big project due to the level of customisation on the website.
We require someone with exceptional PHP expertise to be able to fix any compatibility issues on the website and make sure it functions as normal on PHP 8.
We will provide you with a staging environment and SFTP access.
