Make modal pop up in Prestashop

In the category page where all the products are listed, there is an option to "Quick view" in each. This button opens up a modal showing a copy of the product page.
We don't want a copy of the product page in the modal.
We want to show only the picture, title and "Description" in the modal,
and add only the "Short Description" in the product page.
