Make a eCommerce website with external products from other webpages/stores
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Hello.
I need a product scraper for any kind of eCommerce system that we will run on, and FYI we have not decided what to use from WooCommerce, Magento, Prestashop, Drupal, Saleor or SpreeCommerce.
Based on the list of eCommerce systems we have listed down here above we think it's best for the developer to choose which one is the best to work with based on the task description that will be listed here below.
Here is our systems blueprint in words and workflow.
We need to scrape information from this websites at least: Castorama.pl, LeroyMerlin.pl, OBI.pl, Agata.pl, Jula.pl, Auchan.pl, MediaMarkt.pl, MediaExptert.pl, RTVeuroAGD.pl, Bricoman.pl, Onninen.pl, and finally Ikea.pl. (We may be interested to import more stores later on into the plugin so either documentation is required by the developer or the developer will assist when needed to update the plugin/website.)
1. We need a product scraper for a lot of websites that are either made by web-requests or made by a custom API that will pull content information from the website.
- 1.1. Product category (some websites have "Garden and balcony" and other has maybe "Garden and surrounding" all items that will go under anything related to Garden will be set under "Garden" in our system so we will need somehow to match the Category ID and match it to our Category.
- 1.2. We need to get prices of each item, both current price and if an "on sale" is available, and also the default price that will be displayed if there is no "offer" available.
- 1.3. We need to get the product image(s), description, specification of the item, and also the size of the item if available "Height/Width/Length/Weight" we will use that to calculate the shipping cost of the item in a later stage of this project.
- 1.4. We need to collect what store the items are from and show it on our page for example if that product that you are looking at will show logo or seller text/or/logo for ex: Castorama.
- 1.5. We need to be able to use Google Translate to take the language and translate the item's name and description and all texts into specified text language.
- 1.6. We need to be able to connect to the price rate to know the exact price where we use another currency so we need to convert the PLN price into ISK price with an exchange rate that is updated frequently.
- 1.7. We need to be able to get item quantity, we are working on the area of Gdansk/Gdynia in Poland and we need only to link the quantity of stock of each product in specified stores that are near our location, for example Castorama has 3 stores around us, and Leroy merlin as well, Bricoman has only one location and when you go to their website and choose the location you can see if that item is in stock and also how many of them are available, for example if you buy a pack of tiles and inside that current pack you get 1.55 m2 then the calculator will tell you how many packages you need to get to complete the room if you have 50 m2 it you would say for example 10m X 5x = 50 you would need 33 packages and if they are available in stock.
- 1.8. We are an Import and Export company so we need to add service fee on each product that is purchased which is paid to our company via Stripe Payment Gateway, so the Customer comes into the website select the product and pays for Product+AdditionalSerivceFee+ShippingFromStoreToSpecifiedLocationOFourPLOT+ShippingInAContainer.
