Magento Developers Needed for small fixing

Job ID: 38284801

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I recently added a new developer who promised to deliver section B by yesterday. He claimed completion but only changed button colors to black, nothing more. Despite his assurance to finalize everything today, he has vanished.

This raises questions about professional pride and reliability. As a European, it puzzles me how poorly some developers behave, prioritizing other activities over fulfilling commitments. It's disheartening that a task involving color changes and banner updates has taken nearly 10 days with no progress. It seems more important to some to pocket money rather than deliver quality work.

Raising prices isn’t the issue—he was well-compensated. It’s about standing by your word and demonstrating professional pride. If you take on a job, deliver as promised. Don’t overpromise and underdeliver. I am aware of the effort involved and won’t pay for your learning curve.

Job Details

I need two experienced Magento developers to help resolve specific issues and finalize the visual aspects of my Magento 2.4.3-based website.

Key Tasks:

#A. Main Page Banner via Mirasvit PromoBanner Module
See the separate document for detailed instructions. The job here is to:
1. Change the banners to 4 in total:
a) Free shipping (exists already)
b) Add sales message
c) Add small banner a bit taller
d) Add the biggest banner
All, except for free shipping, shall be created in the Mirasvit module. I have code for them, so it is an easy job to change image and text. The last change is to change colors on the new tab too.

#B. Web and Responsiveness: Colour Changes and More
Brief Overview below; detailed document will be shared later. The majority of the work is done in a separate server instance. We need to copy what is there into a new instance due to a faulty admin section in that instance. Then you can finalize the below and the detailed descriptions I have shared.

It is essential you can read a very simple PDF file and see what should be changed and not tell me that "it is done" and then the only thing that is changed is a black button like the last developer did.

Also, please note, there is a Mirasvit cache warmer that may cause issues, we can simply turn it off. In the live server, there is both Redis and Varnish enabled plus CDC; that is not the case with the dev instances that are on a different server.

- Ensure all images are visible.
- Adjust text alignment: Center text over the button and image, but keep it left-aligned.

#Section 2: Layout and Content Adjustments
- Reduce excessive whitespace in the "New" tab.
- Add missing H1 header with the text "New."
- Change to a three-column product layout for all sections (complexion, lips, and eyes) instead of four.
- Remove product swatches.
- Change button text color to white.

#Section 3: Visibility and Interaction Issues

- Change hover and press color from yellow to white.

Mobile/Responsiveness Adjustments:

#Section 4: Banner and Navigation Fixes

- Correct breadcrumb navigation to accurately reflect the path down to the product level.

#Section 5: Button and Review Section Issues
- Change yellow buttons to black.

#Section 6: Review Section Button Issues
- Detach "Buy" and "Add to Cart" buttons in the review section.

#Section 7: General Aesthetic Adjustments

Additional Notes:
- Ensure overall consistency in button color changes and layout adjustments.
- Verify all changes across both responsive and web views.
- Maintain clear communication for any further required adjustments or clarifications.

Ideal Candidates Should Have:
- Extensive experience with Magento 2.4.3, including theming and CSS capabilities.
- A keen eye for design and detail, ensuring precise color adjustments.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.

These tasks are relatively minor and should take a maximum of one day to complete. However, I have encountered numerous freelancers who provide week-long estimates due to their overloaded schedules. This is a quick job, and if you cannot prioritize this task and deliver promptly, please refrain from contacting me. Only serious candidates who can commit to immediate completion should reach out.
