MYSQL & Microsoft Word Document Creator - Bug = Program Leaves Gaps Due To Missing Data In Table, Gaps Need Closing. -- 2
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We have a HTML 5 / PHP based system that works across a network within an office. This system creates all orders and invoices, it does this by using templates made in Microsoft Word and populating the information within the template with $variables. The information is taken from that a MYSQL database.
At this time we have an issue where the finished documents have gaps in them, this is because not all cells in the database tables have information in them, so some $varribles are empty.
For example: a client may have a company name but no building number or a town but no province or county. Therefore, our documents are created with gaps and we need the spaces of the gaps to be removed if a $variable is empty.
We are now looking for an expert in Microsoft Word to solve this issue for us, this solution needs to work across multiple templates and there are about 10 different templates. Please see attached files for examples.
