MVP for AI-Powered Educational Platform
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
We are looking for a developer/team to create a focused MVP of an AI-driven educational platform tailored for a single user (a student). The platform will utilise Vercel (or optionally Heroku) for deployment, and the project will be built using templates and SDKs to expedite development. The platform's architecture and solutions should allow further developing by adding users, user groups, payment, etc.
Core Objectives
AI-Driven Assistance:
Use AI for task recognition and mentoring functions:
Guide the student in solving tasks step-by-step.
Provide helpful hints and explanations without giving direct answers unless they totally failed. Experiment with prompts and configurations to ensure optimal AI behavior.
OCR Processing:
Integrate Tesseract.js or other open source solution for recognizing and extracting text from uploaded images or scanned pages (e.g., textbook exercises).
Process extracted text to identify tasks and prepare it for AI interaction.
Streamlined for a Single User:
No user management or multi-user functionality.
Focus on creating an intuitive workflow for a single student.
Database for Data Storage:
Store the student's progress, extracted tasks, and interaction history in a database.
Use MySQL if deployed on Vercel with HostPapa’s server or PostgreSQL (or another suitable option) if deployed on Heroku.
Code Ownership:
Complete source code, along with access to the database and deployment configurations, must be delivered.
Technical Stack Frontend:
Use React/Next.js for creating a dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly interface.
Backend: Node.js or Python-based API for managing AI interaction and handling OCR results.
Database: MySQL for Vercel deployment or PostgreSQL for Heroku, depending on the hosting platform. AI Integration: Connect to external AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI or Deep Seek or its Nebius version if Deep Seek is still overloaded) for task recognition and mentoring.
OCR: Utilize Tesseract.js to process images and extract tasks.
Hosting: Deploy on Vercel or Heroku to ensure scalability and ease of management.
