Long Term Programmer for Website/Shop Maintenance and Programming wanted!

Job ID: 38035560

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I'm looking for a skilled programmer to assist with the long-term maintenance of our existing websites. The sites were built using PHP and JavaScript. We have two existing non finished sites that do not work due to a change from the host to PHP8.2 - no the host can NOT downgrade as this is against the EU regulations. The programmer must have high skills in repairing and understanding of PHP7.x-8.x

Key Responsibilities:
- Addressing bugs: The chosen programmer should diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify any issues in the existing websites. This is crucial for ensuring the sites function smoothly.

- Performance optimization: The programmer should be able to identify and implement strategies for enhancing the performance of the websites. This might involve streamlining code, improving server response times, and addressing other speed-related issues.

- Security enhancements: Security is a top priority for us. The programmer should be able to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary measures to enhance the security of the websites.

- Regular maintenance: We need a programmer who can commit to providing regular maintenance, including bug fixes and updates as necessary.

- New Ideas, SEO, Google .... and all necessary legal issues to be solved in regards of the EU Laws (the programmer should minimally know what we need from existing own projects)

NO GOS:
Complaining about existing programming, raising prices during the project, providing excuses as "this is not part of the job" or providing a solution that causes new problems. If a "solution" is offered and new issues come up then this issue is part of the job and budget. The past with freelancer showed us, that solutions were provided and these resulted in brand new problems that programmer tried to charge. A fixed price stays a fixed price.

Salary can go on negotiation and by project. Anything will be discussed prior and only to be started when both parties agree. The selected programmer can look into the existing problems and discuss.

This is a great opportunity for a programmer looking for consistent, long-term work on existing websites.
