Link custom Add to cart button to custom ajax cart

Hey, need some help with my shopify store.
A while ago I built a custom ajax cart for my store which is also working really good.
So when I go to the default product page from shopify and click add to cart, the ajax cart opens and everything is perfect.
But I started to use Gempages so I can customize my product page easier. Unfortunately I can't get it to work, to link my add to cart to the custom ajax cart and not get fowarded to my normal cart.
