Laravel project set up - error resolution

Hi, we are setting up a project in laravel with mongo DB database. Facing an error with a function - Call to a member function beginTransaction() on null. The error comes while uploading an excel file and importing data to database from excel. Need someone who can support us to resolve the error and set up the project from local to hostgator server.
