Laravel & jQuery Custom Business Platform -- 2

I’m kicking off a custom business-focused web platform and need a dependable full-stack developer who is equally comfortable in Laravel, Vanilla JS, and jQuery. The core stack is fixed—Laravel for all server-side work (routing, REST endpoints, validation, queue jobs), Vanilla JS + jQuery for DOM work and AJAX on the client, and MySQL running behind it all.

What the application must do
• Support three distinct roles—Admin, Editor, and Viewer—with secure authentication, role-based permissions, and an intuitive login/registration flow.
• Generate real-time data visualisations and downloadable reports so our team can act on KPIs quickly. Think charts, tables, and filtered exports powered by AJAX.
• Handle payment processing (credit card + potential wallet methods) in a PCI-compliant manner, wired into Laravel’s service container and exposed via clean API endpoints.

Your day-to-day
I’ll rely on you to design the database schema, write well-documented Laravel controllers and models, craft efficient MySQL queries, and wire up responsive front-end interactions with jQuery. Clean code, clear commit messages, and regular communication on progress are non-negotiable.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
1. Fully functional Laravel backend with REST endpoints, passing automated tests.
2. Role-based access control working end-to-end for Admin, Editor, and Viewer.
3. Interactive dashboards and report downloads rendered via Vanilla JS/jQuery without page reloads.
4. Integrated payment workflow that returns verified transaction data to the dashboard.
5. README and inline comments that let another developer spin up the project locally in minutes.
