Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Laravel developer to install and configure a Laravel application along with a custom-built chat module (ChatApp) on our server. The goal is to have a fully functional chat application سيدنا on the domain chat.eocopay.com.
Scope of Work:
Server Environment Setup (if not already fully prepared for Laravel):
Ensure appropriate PHP version, web server (Nginx or Apache recommended), database (MySQL or PostgreSQL), and Composer are correctly installed and configured on the server.
Set up a new Laravel project instance if one is not already in place.
Laravel Application Installation:
Deploy the base Laravel application files to the server.
Configure the .env file with appropriate application, database, and server settings.
Run necessary Composer commands (composer install, etc.).
Ensure basic Laravel application is running correctly on chat.eocopay.com.
ChatApp Module Installation & Configuration:
Integrate the provided ChatApp Laravel package into the existing Laravel application.
Utilize the package's web-based installer to guide through the module-specific setup. This includes:
Verifying server requirements for the module.
Checking folder permissions.
Configuring database details specifically for the chat module within the .env file (if not already covered by the main Laravel setup) and generating the CHATAPP_ENCRYPTION_KEY.
Running database migrations for the chat module.
Creating an initial admin account for the ChatApp management panel.
Middleware Configuration:
Ensure the auth.admin middleware (or a similarly functioning one) is correctly set up and registered in the main Laravel application. This middleware is crucial for protecting the ChatApp's administration panel. Guidance on this is provided in the documentation.
Testing & Verification:
Thoroughly test the complete application, including user registration (if applicable to the main app), chat functionality, supervisor panel access, and admin panel access for the ChatApp module.
Ensure all features described in the ChatApp documentation are working as expected.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in installing, configuring, and deploying Laravel applications from scratch.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and web server configuration (Nginx/Apache).
Expertise with Composer and managing Laravel dependencies.
Experience with Laravel's .env configuration, database migrations, and service providers.
Ability to understand and follow technical documentation accurately.
Experience in setting up and troubleshooting Laravel middleware.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English.
