Laravel Backend Overhaul for Enhanced Functionality
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer to make critical backend changes to our account section. Our backend is model-based, and you will be working primarily on the admin panel to implement new features and resolve existing issues.
Key Requirements & Tasks
Discount Option in Edit & Billing Section
Add a discount field to allow adjustments when customers pay less than the total amount.
Automatically update final billing based on applied discounts.
Search & Filter Functionality
Fix issues with the search bar and filters to ensure accurate results.
Booking Status Column
Display booking statuses (Pending, Accepted, Rescheduled, Ongoing, Completed) in a separate column on all booking pages.
Daily Email Reports
Send daily emails to the admin with:
Total orders received, completed, and cancelled
Total order amount
Net balance for each service provider
Send separate daily emails to each provider with their order summary and current balance.
Customer Address Update on Order Placement
If a customer (identified by phone or email) already exists, update their address with the new one provided during order placement.
Duplicate Booking Entries
Ensure only unique booking values are displayed in search results.
Fix the “Service Not Available” error when clicking duplicate entries.
Admin Panel: Customer Review Option
Add an option to write a review as a customer directly from the admin panel.
Zone-Based Data Filtering
On all pages (including reports), when a zone (e.g., Mysore) is selected, display only data related to that zone.
When a main category is selected, display only relevant subcategories.
Sortable Table Columns
Enable sorting for all table columns (name, price, date, status, etc.) in both ascending and descending order on every page.
Display Order for Categories/Subcategories/Services
Add a feature to set the display order (via number field or drag-and-drop) for categories, subcategories, and services in the admin panel.
Role & Permission Issues
Investigate and resolve issues where employees with assigned roles/permissions cannot place orders due to permission restrictions or missing access rights.
Keyword Analysis in Admin Panel
Fix the keyword analysis function to ensure accurate detection and display of relevant keywords.
Investigate backend logic, input handling, and output rendering for any issues.
