Simple Microsite for Movie Tracking with Producer Access
Description:
We are a movie distribution company and need a simple microsite to manage our movies internally and allow each producer to view the status of their own movies.
Internal (Admin) Functions
Add new movies with two fields:
Movie Title
Owner (producer/client)
Edit or delete movies.
Manage platforms:
Add new platforms (Tubi, Plex, etc.)
Remove platforms if no longer used
Selections: mark which platforms have selected each movie (only “selected,” no rejection or dates needed).
Reports: upload one quarterly PDF report per movie (must be downloadable and replaceable).
External (Producer) Functions
Login with unique username/password per producer.
Each producer can access and view all their assigned movies in one panel.
Producers will see for their movies:
Title and Owner
List of selected platforms
Downloadable quarterly PDF report
Contact button (simple contact form or mailto link) for questions.
Optional but Desired Features
Search & filters: ability to search movies by title, owner, or platform.
Basic activity log: system automatically records when a movie is marked as selected on a platform or when a PDF is uploaded.
Password reset by email (producers can reset their own password without admin help).
Email notifications: when a new PDF report is uploaded or when a movie is marked as selected, the producer receives an email.
Export to Excel/CSV for admin reports.
Technical Requirements
Microsite (not a mobile app — we want the simplest and most cost-effective solution).
Accessible from web browser (desktop and mobile).
Developed in PHP/MySQL or another lightweight option compatible with our hosting (cPanel with Installatron).
Clean and easy-to-use interface.
Deliverables
Fully working microsite installed on our hosting.
Admin panel for internal management.
Producer accounts with restricted access.
Basic user manual (how to add/delete movies, manage platforms, upload reports, create producer logins).
