Jet Smart Filters Addon Modification

I need to modify one of the Crocoblock Dev Addons for Jet Smart Filters. Please only reply if you have experience modifying Crocoblock.
It is a checkbox filter with 3 checkboxes. If a user checks a checkbox, the filter should filter the Jet Engine Listing based on a meta field value and a cookie.
