Internal Company Web-Based Shopping Cart Development

Job ID: 38149151

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm looking to build an internal web-based shopping cart for my company.

Key Features:
- The primary purpose of this cart is for selling products online
- Must be responsive, for PHONE, TABLET, DESKTOP
- The users of this cart will be internal employees
- I'm looking for the cart to be developed with JSCRIPT for the menu system and product display
- Only basic CSS Styling is required. Do not assume you will have access to external internet resources. All code must be local. No frameworks / plugins
- We will use Stripe for the payment.
- MSSQL for the database all data retrieved by stored procedures.

Basic functions required.

Create a customer account if it does not already exist. Logic to be discussed.

Cascading product menu will be created. You will get all the menu items from the database in on go.
You will then display the layers of the menu for the user to drill through. A graphical breadcrumb will be provided to allow the user to go up and down the menu.

Each Menu Item will have the following attributes.
Button Colour, Border Colour, Text, Img source, Size

Once the user has got to the end of the menu selection, you will get all the associated products from the database.

For Example

Top level menu items will be named A B C D …Z for each item.
Example
A Wetsuits
B Coats
C Shoes
Next Level Menu items will be named Parent menu + A B C D …Z
Example
AA Men Long Wetsuits
AB Men Shortie Wetsuits
BA Waterproof
BB Splashproof
BC Summer
BD Winter

etc

There can be a max of 26 items in each menu item. They will be ordered By Alpha
When there is no more sub menu, you will call a Stored Procedure that will then return the items in the menu.

You will then get all the items that are linked to that menu item.

You will group and filter the items on options (upto 10 per product) on the products. Once the user has chosen from the filter you will display the related products.

Filters for below SIZE LENGTH COLOUR THICKNESS MANUFACTURE

You will Get one "Master" product That contains all of product information and then all the sub products.

For Example Master Product "Mens Wetsuits"
subproducts
mens wetsuit L SHORTIE BLUE 2.5mm TYPHOON £39.99
mens wetsuit XL SHORTIE BLUE 2.5mm TYPHOON £39.99
mens wetsuit XXL SHORTIE BLUE 2.5mm TYPHOON £49.99
mens wetsuit M SHORTIE BLUE 2.5mm TYPHOON £29.99
mens wetsuit S SHORTIE BLUE 2.5mm TYPHOON £29.99

You will display the products in a list (formatted) When no filters are applied, you will have a long list. As filters are applied the list will reduce.

When the user chooses the specific item they want, you will go to a product "Buy" page as per a normal cart.

On the product Page, the item might have customisable options. Some may not be customisable. You will get these options from a Stored procedure linked to the product code. The customisation options, will be displayed and the user will be able to fill in info as required. They can also delete a line.

For Example

Kids Gainsborough Swimming Club Shirt

Customisable options :-

Small Logo -- Left Chest
Large Logo -- Back
Initials -- Right Chest -- ENTER DETAILS or DELETE
Text Back above Large Logo -- ENTER DETAILS or DELETE
Text Back below Large Logo -- ENTER DETAILS or DELETE

When you add it to the cart, you will end up with the Product code for the product and then a product code for each of the items, with the product description as ENTER DETAILS. There may be a price on the Customisable options.

You can have access to a cart table of your design to manage the order process.

Payment Options
STRIPE, COD, ACCOUNT
Delivery Options
Despatch or Collect

Once you have completed the order, you will call a stored procedure, that will post the cart data into the host system and then delete the cart data.
