Integration of Mollie online payments in simple php/mysql website

Customers order flowers through a simple webform. Current ordering process includes offline payments & needs to be changed to online payment via Mollie payment solution (mollie.com)


Ordering process

Step 1 – Flower choice (already OK – no work needed)
Step 2 – Entering personal details + ribbon and/or card option (already OK – no work needed)
Step 3 – (to be developed) calculate order total
Step 3 – (to be developed) online Mollie payment
Step 4 - (after payment success)
• confirmation of flower order on screen (already OK – no work needed)
• adding order data to database table (already OK – no work needed)
• auto mail to shop owner (already OK – no work needed)
• auto mail to client (already OK – no work needed)
• registration of which Mollie payment method was used. (to be developed)

What needs to be developed
1/ integration of Mollie online payment (account already setup & details available)
2/ integration with current existing checkout
- if payment fails : redirect to order page (to be developed) + warning that order failed (to be developed)
- if payment is a success : redirect to confirmation page (to be developed) + auto mail to shop owner (already OK – no work needed) + auto mail to client (already OK – no work needed)

Timing
work needs to be done by end of week 19 (14/05/23) & can be started right away.
